Introduction to Screen2
A programme enabled with Screen2 allows audiences to use virtually any device to interact with their TV – laptops, tablets and mobile handsets, with over 600 of the most popular handset models supported - not only the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry smartphones, but also Java supported handsets (3 billion mobile phones today run Java; 31 times more Java phones ship each year than Apple and Android combined), ensuring that the entire audience can participate, in any country worldwide.
- Screen2 services extend standard interactive features, such as voting, polling, news, and quizzes, and also support all the major social media offerings such as Twitter, Facebook, and Tuenti, and the broadcasters’ own web sites.
- Uniquely, Screen2 can also support format-specific features directly synchronised with the running order of the programme, enabling real time play-along with formats such as game shows, thanks to InTime Media’s patented Screen2Sync technology.
- Screen2Sync enables Screen2 to support live or pre-recorded programmes, viewed within the schedule or on demand.
- Screen2Sync gives a new impact to ads run during and immediately after a Screen2 enabled programme.
- Screen2 is easy to localise for any market in a matter of weeks. It is backed up by comprehensive service level agreements and specific product liability insurance policies.
All types of mobile device and tablet are supported

- Screen2 platform was first launched successfully this year on Gran Hermano (Big Brother) for Endemol/TeleCinco in Spain, and Dancing with the Stars for BBC Worldwide/Antenna1 TV in Greece and Cyprus.
- All content and scheduling for Screen2 services can be controlled in real-time by the broadcast team through the Activity Manager, a web based content management tool, which also gives feedback on usage metrics and viewer behaviour.
- A Screen2 app also includes MyPage, unique to each viewer. These provide a channel for sponsors and advertisers to engage directly with potential customers and also record each user’s interactive history over an entire series for their own records.
